Re: Self Image (Uninteresting)

It's a weird thing to 'come out' as a Christian. I'm not saying to come out as a homosexual as a Christian, I'm saying to come out as a Christian as a vlogger. Come out about my Jesus-loving ways. It isn't a secret, but as with any decade-old relationship, I don't find the constant need to explicitly refer to it.

Let's face it: this is a country in which Christians (I'm talking the evangelical kind, the kind that adopt that title because they love Jesus, not the kind that adopt that title because they sometimes go to a church) are regarded with disdain by many, considered ignorant, and bigoted. I understand why. The most exaggerated example of this is the Westboro Baptist Church.

But still, this is what I believe, and I don't love the conversations where people expressed their judgements thinly veiled as questioning. This isn't always the case, and it is much easier to understand the intent in person.

For some reason, I didn't quite expect to have such comment conversations. And they were mostly about my faith, and my choices regarding my faith. I must be an idiot. Of course that would stir conversation.

The part of that conversation I hate the most is the one where people try to talk me into dating someone who doesn't love Jesus. Not someone specific, just to be open to the possibility.

This is as futile as trying to convince a vegan of 5 years to eat some cheese. The decision has been made. It has nothing to do with you. It probably doesn't effect you. Give it up.

If you want to argue with me about dating someone who doesn't love Jesus, don't bother leaving a comment. I'm done talking about it.

I think that some people are subscribed to me twice, if that is possible. They show up on my sub list twice, and when I type out all the names, if I don't include them two times, the numbers don't match. And then some other people who subscribe to me, their subscription box is filled with "We sub4sub!" Which I don't do.... I guess this is the equivilant of all the porn/business bots following me on twitter?

At some point, I'm going to get to the end of the trip and have to start at the beginning and work up to Bozeman. Only thing is, there isn't any video footage from the first part of my trip, as I purchased my camera in Iowa. Oh well. There are lots of pictures.

I did so much in LA. As I go through my pictures to find ones to add, I remember things that I didn't even mention doing. Oh well.
